Complete Streets

Complete Streets

Complete Streets are streets for everyone.

Complete Streets is an approach to planning, designing, building, operating, and maintaining streets that enables safe access for all people who use them, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders of all ages and abilities.

Roadway design features common to complete streets projects include sidewalks, lane striping, bicycle lanes, paved shoulders suitable for use by bicyclists, signage, crosswalks, pedestrian control signals, bus pull-outs, curb cuts, raised crosswalks, ramps and traffic calming measures.

As of 2023, all Clinton County municipalities have adopted complete streets resolutions.
