Long Term Home Health Care Program
How do I qualify?
You may qualify if:
- You are a resident of Clinton County
- You have a primary physician
- You are medically eligible
How do I pay for LTHHC?
You may pay privately or you may have Long Term Care Insurance that helps to cover the cost. Medicaid is a third option. If Medicaid is needed, income and resource guidelines must be met whether you are single or married. If you are married and only one of you needs assistance, Medicaid does what is know as “spousal budgeting”. This allows your spouse to keep the home, car, personal possessions, income up to $2739 per month and resources between $74,820 and $109,560. These figures may change annually.
