Boil Water Orders

Boil Water Orders (BWO) can be issued for the following reasons:

  • If water pressure drops below 20 pounds per square inch.
  • A confirmed E. Coli positive water sample.
  • Failure of essential equipment in the water treatment facility.
  • A sanitation survey reveals pollution sources that cannot normally be removed by the treatment provided.

If you believe you may be affected by a Boil Water Order or have any other water-related concerns, contact your municipality. For all other public water systems not listed below, call your water operator/property manager.
