The Public Defender's Office is dedicated to the fair representation of all persons in our county who cannot afford legal representation when charged in a criminal action.
It is the goal of the Public Defender's Office and its experienced staff to provide efficient and cost-effective representation in each and every criminal court in Clinton County.
Effective January 9, 2023:
The Public Defender's Office regular hours will be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The office will be closed from noon to 1:00 PM each day.
Clients will only be seen if they have an appointment with their attorney. Please call 518-565-3660 to schedule in advance.
There is a drop box outside for those who need to drop off paperwork while the office is closed.
