In order to run for local office, you must meet the following requirements.
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be 18 years of age by the day of the election in which you want to vote.
- Be a resident of the county for at least 30 days before the election if registering for the first time.
- Be on parole if convicted of a felony.

Not be in jail for a felony conviction.
